PREACH THE GOSPEL AND MAKE DISCIPLES
Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations (Matthew 28:18)!” It is has been said that part of Life Christian Center’s call is to raise up missionaries, preachers, and lay people and send them out to the world in domestic and foreign fields. However, these very people need to be discipled, trained, proven, anointed and approved. To make a disciple you must first be one. You must “study earnestly to present yourself approved to God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth (2Timothy 2:15).” To help fulfill the commission and call of the Lord Jesus upon this church, we are excited to announce that we are opening a bible college on August 27, 2007. Word Bible College of Life Christian Church of Escondido is extending their campus to us, here at Life Christian Center. It is a fully accredited program that offers Leadership Certification with degrees up to Doctorate of Theology. I am a graduate of Word Bible College. I recommend it to anyone who wants to deepen their relationship with God, especially if you believe you are called to the ministry. This invitation is not only to our church but to the San Diego region. Orientation will be held in the main sanctuary on Tuesday August 21 at 7 pm. I certainly would encourage you to attend and make a decision to fulfill your call. Jesus is coming soon! Will He find you doing what He called you to do?
Do you not know that those running in a race all run, but one receives the prize? So run, that you may obtain it! 1 Corinthians 9:24

Make A Generational Impact From Now To Eternity
My wife and I are constantly reminded of Nehemiah’s heart who took the conquest to rebuild and restore the walls of his city to bring the people a home of worship, Gideon’s call to valor to deliver a weak generation from oppression, Esther’s courage to act for a moment appointed in history to deliver and save a nation by personal sacrifice, and David’s courage of faith as a young boy to take out the giant that threatened his nation’s freedom. Their destiny was to bring a change that would last generations well after them. The real question is, what would our bibles read today if they had not rose to the occasion called by God and what impact would it have had our present generation? The Lord Jesus Christ has placed Life Christian Center in this city, at this time, so that we can make a difference for Him now and for eternity. Our church is reaching people and we are seeing life change in so many. But there are still many the Lord has called us to impact. We can’t stop now! Let’s seize this moment for the Lord and cause a major ripple of influence so great that others won’t be able to help but notice the difference Jesus can make in their lives! Everyday, we see the broken down walls of the city and its destroyed pathways. The prophet Isaiah foretold of this very ministry’s assignment, “to be the Restorer of the breach and the Repairer of the streets.” We are called to reach the abandoned, rejected, forgotten and the unloved; bringing them Life, Health, and Healing. When Jesus was about to be born to change mankind’s eternal destiny, an inn keeper said there was no room. Let it never be said of Life Christian Center, “there’s no room at the inn to bring life change in Jesus Christ.” For years and years to come, the results of this effort will provide the opportunity for children and their families to hear about Jesus and receive His love. Long after this day, the investments we make will continue to touch thousands of families with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This call of Lord burns within my heart and I have full confidence in our church family to rise to this occasion. We, together in unity, will build a rest home for ourselves, our children, and the many yet to come that Jesus has called us to impact. Who will be the first to start the Impact?

The Ripple Effect
“Be strong and courageous, and do the work, Don’t be afraid or discouraged by the size of the task, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. He will see to it that all the work related to the Temple of the Lord is finished correctly (I Chronicles 28:20).” We must not be blind, passive, or paralyzed. We must be vigilant and ready when called. We must be willing to walk past our fears. We must believe that God wants to use us to love and lead all people to life change in Christ in a very real, tangible way. The need is real. The time is now. When we make this impact on our community for Christ, the ripples we set in motion will echo for eternity. “You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did (James 2:22).” What is the potential of a small act of faith combined with personal courage? The impact can seem insignificant at the time, yet the effect can be felt far beyond what we could ever imagine. This is the first step of causing a ripple effect that will change the present generation and the future generations to come. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Phi 4:13).” God orchestrates these divine moments in our lives to pour out His divine power through our obedience. The question is… will we recognize the need set before us? Will we hear Him when He calls? Will we act and trust that the Lord is able to turn our weakness into strength? God isn’t looking for another method; He is looking for another church to answer the call. Life Christian Center, let us rise to the occasion and take this generation which is filled with the future generation for the Lord and prepare the new building facilities which He has called us to build that will care for the harvest to come. As we work together with the Lord in unity nothing will be impossible for us to accomplish. Who will be first to start the Ripple Effect?

¨ Keep Marching ¨
We are going into the month of March and we are going to do just that. We are going to ‘march’ into the Land our King has promised to give us! Have you ever noticed two thirds of God’s name is “GO?” What are we waiting for? Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.” (Numbers 13:30) In Numbers 14:9, Joshua, Caleb’s faith partner ,said, “Do not rebel against God, nor fear the people of the land,” for they are our bread and their protection has departed from them, and the Lord is with us! Do not fear them. God is with us. Say it! “God is with me!” What do we do next? GO! God is bigger than any enemy or people that might be standing between you and the Promised Land. Veggie Tales says it this way, “God is bigger than the Boogie man, and bigger than Godzilla or the Monster on the TV!” It amazes me how we teach this to our kids, yet we run and hide when we chase after the things promised to us. Not this time! Say it! “Not this time!” |

Love Heals©
The greatest healing in life is love. For God so loved that He gave (John 3:16.) True love will always cause you to give. When you find yourself empty in giving, you’re out of the love walk. God's love has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us (Romans 5:5 GW). First, realize you have the love of God in you. The Holy Spirit poured love into your heart when you gave your life to Jesus. The Holy Spirit graces us with the ability to love God and to love others the way He does. God’s love is different in that it forgives and gives. The world holds back and takes back. Christ died for us while we were still sinners. This demonstrates God's love for us (Rom 5:8 GW). We have the power to love in less than perfect situations and in hostile times. God did not give us His love because we were perfect, but knew in giving us His love, love itself would perfect us. The reality is people are not perfect and remember you are one of those “people.” We forgive because God forgave us. Love requires a sacrifice. In fact, it requires death. God gave His love and His Son. You have to give yourself and die to your personal preferences in life that people keep coming up short in. Love never fails (1Co 13:8 CEV)! But faith working through love (Gal 5:6 NKJ). Love is a decision. You have it and release it by faith. “Lord, I choose to love them according to your word, and I forgive or give to them.” Giving them love will automatically release you from whatever it is they tried to harm you with; therefore, keeping you healed from any virus. Loving others produces love from others. When we walk in love it keeps us healed, because no bitterness or unforgiveness can enter our life making us heart sick. Doing this proves one thing, everyone will know that you are my disciples because of your love for each other (John 13:35 GW).
Walking in love is walking in Healing! |
We are claiming that this year is going to be greater and bigger. I am expecting great change. One of the changes that have been implemented is establishing the foundation of individual departments. We have delegated to the Ministry Departmental Leads to take charge of their departments.
As the church grows, more people, more laborers and more help will be provided. Thank you Jesus! This is definitely an answered prayer. Remember, the Lord wants to see us faithful with the little, so He can trust us with much. Why wait till we get to 300 or more to establish a great Ministry of Helps? Let us do it now!
Sow it in your mind that God trust us to build His Kingdom with His people. Take ownership and have high honor of what God has given to us. Let us grow together and build each other as we reap the Harvest for 2007. It is all for Him!
... you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things.
Matthew 25:21
